Footlight Glamour

Footlight Glamour ist ein Schwarz-Weiß-Film von 1943 und der 14. der 28 Blondie-Filme. Er ist einer von nur zwei Filmen der Serie, in denen "Blondie" nicht im Titel vorkommt (der andere, "It's a Great Life", wurde Anfang des Jahres veröffentlicht). Der letzte Film in der "Blondie"-Serie für:

•  Frank R. Strayer, Produzent/Regisseur.
•  Irving Bacon als der glücklose Postbote der Bumsteads, der durch Eddie Acuff ersetzt werden sollte

Auf unheimliche Weise sah Arthur Lake fast genauso aus, wie Dagwood Bumstead in den 1930er und 1940er Jahren gezeichnet wurde, was praktisch nichts mit der zukünftigen Version aus den späteren 1950er Jahren zu tun hat.
